The port of Kos town with its beautiful harbor promenade is located in a picturesque bay. The harbor entrance is guarded by the old Fortress Neratzia. The Mandráki port is a central transport hub of Kos city, offering ferry connections to many islands of the Dodecanese and to Bodrum in Turkey. Also, city buses, and sightseeing tours stop or start in the harbor.
