The Wurzacher Ried moorland north of the municipality of Bad Wurzach in Baden-Württemberg is one of the largest nature reserves and one of the most important moorland areas in southern Germany. The moor area extends over about 8 × 4 km over a total area of about 18 km².
In 1989, the Wurzacher Ried was awarded the European Diploma for the first time as one of the largest still intact high moor areas in Central Europe. In the nature conservation center Wurzacher Ried in Bad Wurzach (Naturschutzzentrum), a multimedia exhibition shows many ecological details and provides extensive information.
