The castle chapel is the oldest part of Bad Wurzach Castle, it was first mentioned in a document in 1422 and later integrated into the castle. During a renovation in 1996/97, its original size was restored, and since the renovations light is falling in from the north side again like in ancient times.
In the choir room on the left is the tomb of George I of Waldburg, „Jörg im hübschen Haar“ (Jörg in Pretty Hair), who died in 1467. The chapel is usually open during the day and is located in the east wing of the castle, the "Rentamt" built in 1691.
